Tilting and Demoulding Crane

The Role of Tilting and Demoulding Crane in the AAC Block Production Process:

The tilting machine tilts the entire casting mold with the aerated concrete mass, allowing it to be demoulded without breaking. The demoulding process removes the mold to expose the solidified aerated concrete, making it ready for cutting.
Process It Belongs To: The Cutting and Procuring process, where the green (soft but solidified) aerated concrete is prepared for further processing.

  • Casting Molds – where the aerated concrete slurry is poured and allowed to set.
  • Procuring Chambers – where the aerated concrete mass is allowed to cure partially to achieve the necessary strength for handling.

  • Cutting Machine – for cutting the tilted and demoulded aerated concrete mass into blocks or slabs.
  • Autoclave – for steam curing the cut blocks or slabs under high pressure to complete the hardening process.

Purpose:

The flip hoist has two major functions:
1. Lift the blank with the mold frame and side plate after pouring and curing, turn it 90° (the blank is upright), and hang it on the cutting trolley for mold opening and demolding. Remove the mold frame and the blank can be cut.
2. Reassemble and clamp the mold and side plate after demolding, turn it 90° to the mold return line, and then pour.

The turning hoist consists of a horizontal beam, a vertical beam, a guide device, a turning device, a lifting device, a side plate clamping and releasing device and a hydraulic system. The horizontal beam and the vertical beam are made of rectangular steel pipes, which have the advantages of good rigidity, simple structure, easy installation and adjustment. The hydraulic station, lifting device, side plate clamping, and releasing device are placed on the upper part of the horizontal beam, and the guide device and turning device are on the vertical beam.
